2024 CAF Awards: Top nominees for men’s awrds

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled the top five nominees in the men’s categories for the 2024 CAF Awards.  

Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman has been named among the finalists for the prestigious Player of the Year award, while Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali is in contention for the Goalkeeper of the Year title.

The Men’s Player of the Year category also features Simon Adingra (Ivory Coast), Serhou Guirassy (Guinea), Achraf Hakimi (Morocco), and Ronwen Williams (South Africa).

In addition, Nigeria’s national team has been nominated for the National Team of the Year award, facing stiff competition from Ivory Coast, DR Congo, South Africa, and Sudan.

The 2024 CAF Awards ceremony will take place on December 16, 2024, in Marrakech, Morocco, celebrating Africa’s finest football talents and teams.
