2027: Atiku’s men, El-rufai, Al-Mustapha, others meet SDP leaders

As Nigeria prepares for the 2027 general elections, opposition figures and some prominent members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are reportedly strategizing to unseat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the ruling party.

In a significant development, a strategic meeting was convened early Tuesday at the national secretariat of the Social Democratic Party (SDP). The gathering is believed to have brought together key political players across party lines, aiming to form a united front against the APC.

Segun Showunmi, a former spokesman for Atiku Abubakar, confirmed the meeting in a Facebook post, fueling speculations about a broad coalition being formed to challenge the ruling party’s dominance.
