Former Arsenal forward, Fabian Caballero dies at 46

Former Arsenal and Dundee forward, Fabian Caballero, has passed away at the age of 46.

The Paraguayan footballer, who had a significant impact during his playing career, was remembered by Dundee in a statement released on Saturday.

The club expressed their condolences, honoring Caballero’s contribution to the sport. His death marks a tragic loss to the football community.

“All at Dundee Football Club are extremely shocked and saddened this morning to learn of the passing of former Dundee player Fabian Caballero,” Dundee’s statement partly read.

“Fabian passed away at the age of 46 and will be greatly missed by everyone at Dundee Football Club.”

“The thoughts of everyone at the club are with Fabian’s family at this very sad time.”

Caballero was signed by Arsene Wenger in 1998 but made only three appearances for Arsenal in all competitions.

He signed for the Dundee in July 2000.
