Nigerian defender William Troost-Ekong could be on his way to Saudi Arabia this summer, according to reports from News360 Nigeria.

According to BBC reporter, Oluwashina Okeleji, the 29-year-old center-back has caught the attention of three Saudi clubs, who are eager to secure his services.

Troost-Ekong was in fantastic form for PAOK in pre-season.

The 30-year-old has returned to full fitness from the injury he sustained at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The former Watford player was also linked with a Saudi club during the 2023 AFCON finals hosted by Cote d’Ivoire.

Troost-Ekong was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) at the competition.

He scored the winning goal as PAOK defeated Bosnian club, FK Borac Banja Luka 3-2 in a UEFA Champions League second round qualifying tie last week.
