Real reason Chelsea may not win EPL tittle again – Leboeuf

Frank Lebeouf, a former Chelsea star has delivered a scathing assessment of his old club, labeling them a “disgrace” and suggesting that they may never win the Premier League title again. 

This bleak prediction comes as Chelsea struggles to reclaim their spot at the top of English football.

Leboeuf’s comments are a far cry from Chelsea’s glory days, when they won six Premier League titles.

However, it’s been seven years since their last championship, and the club’s fortunes have been in decline ever since.

Having finished in sixth place last season, Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly sacked Mauricio Pochettino and brought in Enzo Maresca.

Maresca has been tasked with making the billion-pound squad win silverware.

But Leboeuf told Instant Casino: “The club can do whatever they want with their money but as a former player, I think it’s kind of a disgrace to see what we are seeing.

“The talent is there in the squad but you don’t have many leaders or players you can rely on, that’s the biggest problem Enzo Maresca has.

“It’s possible that Chelsea can win a cup, like the FA Cup this season potentially, but never the Premier League. No way.”
