President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday hosted former world boxing champion Anthony Joshua at his Ikoyi residence in Lagos.

During the visit, Joshua presented the president with an autographed boxing glove as a gesture of respect and camaraderie.

The 35-year-old British-born boxer, whose roots trace back to Sagamu in Ogun State, is currently on vacation in Nigeria. He has been seen exploring various locations across the country.

Earlier in the week, Joshua was hosted by Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, at the Government House in Abeokuta, where he was named the state’s “Sports Ambassador.”

The governor praised the boxer for his accomplishments and urged him to keep making Ogun State proud.
