Arsenal fans received a morale boost on Tuesday as captain Martin Odegaard rejoined full training at the Sobha Realty Training Centre.

The Arsenal website celebrated the sight, stating, “There was a welcome sight at the Sobha Realty Training Centre today as Martin Odegaard returned to full training with the rest of his teammates.”

Odegaard’s return follows a challenging two-month recovery from an ankle injury sustained during international duty with Norway in September, sidelining him for 12 consecutive matches.

His comeback couldn’t be more timely, as the Gunners prepare for a pivotal Champions League encounter with Inter Milan.

The Arsenal website noted, “We head to Italy later on Tuesday afternoon aiming to maintain our unbeaten start in this season’s competition, but all Gunners supporters will be thrilled to see Martin taking the latest step towards a first-team return.” The captain’s comeback could provide a morale boost as Arsenal aims to continue their impressive European campaign.

In September, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta declined to rule out captain Odegaard for the North London derby against Tottenham, despite concerns that the key midfielder could be sidelined for weeks.

Odegaard suffered an ankle sprain on international duty with Norway earlier this season.
