BBNaija’s Rhuthee opens up about her challenges as a teen mom

In a heart-to-heart conversation with fellow housemate Mayor Frosh, Big Brother Naija Season 9 contestant, Rhuthee shared her emotional journey as a teenage mother. 

With unflinching honesty, Rhuthee revealed her initial feelings of shame and how she eventually came to embrace her role as a parent.

Rhuthee’s story is a poignant reminder that teenage pregnancy can be a daunting experience, filled with uncertainty and self-doubt.

She confessed to feeling ashamed of being a parent at such a young age, a sentiment that many teen moms can relate to.

However, Rhuthee’s narrative takes a beautiful turn as she shares how her daughter became the “best thing” that happened to her.

“How do I tell people I have a child? I can’t tell people. I never used to tell people I have a child,” she said while fighting back tears.

“It was just people that knew me from way back that knew that. I was still very ashamed that I had a child. It took me years to come out of that shell.

“As she grows, she even showed me more love than I ever did. And I’m like, this girl is the best thing that happened to me.”
