CAF Awards 2024: Again, Super Falcons clinch female national team of the year title

The Super Falcons have once again been recognized as the Women’s Team of the Year at the 2024 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Awards, marking their second consecutive win.  

The prestigious accolade was received by Ibrahim Gusau, President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), who attributed the victory to the unwavering commitment and strategic efforts dedicated to advancing women’s football in Nigeria.

Gusau emphasized that the award reflects the team’s consistent excellence and the progress of the sport in the country.
