Ex-Kaduna Chief Judge, Justice Tanimu Zailani, passes away at 65

Justice Tanimu Zailani, the former Chief Judge of Kaduna State, has passed away. He died in the early hours of Sunday in Kaduna after a brief illness.

According to a family member who spoke on condition of anonymity, the funeral prayer for the late Justice Zailani will be held in his hometown, Rigachikun, located in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Justice Zailani served as the Chief Judge of Kaduna State from 2013 until his retirement in 2018. During his tenure, he was the head of the Kaduna State Judiciary, overseeing the judicial branch of the state government and presiding over the High Court of Kaduna State.

His death marks the end of a distinguished career in the judiciary, where he was known for his dedication to justice and his contributions to the legal system in Kaduna State.

The state and the legal community are expected to mourn his passing deeply, remembering his legacy and the impact he had on the judiciary during his years of service.
