Ex-President Obasanjo hosts MMA fighter Francis Ngannou in Abeokuta
Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo welcomed mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Francis Ngannou to his office in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Ngannou, who shared the visit on Instagram on Monday, described the meeting as an honor.
“It was an honour meeting the legendary former Nigerian president, H.E. Olusegun Obasanjo, yesterday at his home office in Abeokuta. It was great receiving some words of wisdom from the legend,” Ngannou wrote.
The Cameroonian-French fighter, who spent the Christmas holiday in his home country, arrived in Nigeria recently.
During his stay, Ngannou has been spotted with prominent figures, including Nigerian artist Burna Boy and former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, at an event in Lagos over the weekend.
