Gov Soludo swears in Law Mefor as new Anambra Commissioner for Information

Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has appointed Dr. Law Mefor as the new Commissioner for Information, replacing Paul Nwosu, who was dismissed earlier.

The swearing-in ceremony took place at the State Executive Council Chambers in Awka, where Governor Soludo emphasized the importance of accurate and timely communication.

Dr. Mefor, a seasoned media expert with over 25 years of experience, outlined his plans to promote media literacy and modernize the state’s information ministry.

His objectives include fostering collaboration with media organizations, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and accessibility, and equipping the public with tools to combat misinformation.

With Mefor’s expertise, Anambra State expects a revitalized approach to information dissemination in line with Governor Soludo’s vision.
