The Petroleum Products Retail Outlet Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN) has confirmed that petrol from the Port Harcourt refinery will be sold at N1,030 per litre, following updates from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).

Joseph Obele, PETROAN’s spokesperson, announced the pricing in a statement on Thursday night. He emphasized that the refinery is operational and that the NNPCL had officially communicated the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to the association.

“The NNPC Retail Ltd has officially announced the PMS price at the Port Harcourt refinery as N1,030 per litre,” Obele stated.

This announcement comes amid ongoing discussions about fuel pricing and the refinery’s recent refurbishment. The development is expected to impact market dynamics and consumer purchasing power across the country.
