JUST-IN: Wike meets PDP BoT behind closed doors in Abuja

Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, held a closed-door meeting on Tuesday with the Senator Adolphus Wabara-led Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Though journalists were not allowed into the meeting, there is speculation that discussions focused on resolving the ongoing crisis within the party, particularly in Rivers State. The BoT had previously written to Wike seeking dialogue, following a meeting with Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, in August.

It remains unclear whether any resolutions were reached during the meeting.
