Lookman, Ndidi, Onuachu starts against South Africa (see full list)

Paul Onuachi has been named to lead the attack in tonight’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.

As expected, Stanley Nwabali of Chippa United will start in goal, ahead of Maduka Okoye and Olorunleke Ojo. Bright Osayi-Samuel and Calvin Bassey will play as right and left back, respectively.

Wilfred Ndidi, who will captain the team on the night, will pair West Bromwich Albion’s Semi Ajayi in central defence

Lanky hitman Paul Onuachu will lead the attack and will be supported by Ademola Lookman and Kelechi Iheanacho.
