Lookman, Osimhen shines as Super Eagles secure 3-0 win over Benin

Ademola Lookman stole the show with a brace, while Victor Osimhen added another as Nigeria’s Super Eagles cruised to a 3-0 victory against Benin Republic in their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying match.

Lookman found the net in both halves, and Osimhen, coming off the bench, scored in between to complete the comfortable win.

The victory propels Nigeria to the top of Group D as they set their sights on their next fixture against Rwanda on Tuesday, September 10. The Super Eagles are now in a strong position to secure qualification for AFCON 2025.
