1. Gabriel Ogbechie

Gabriel Ogbechie is a Nigerian Billionaire businessman, philanthropist and CEO of the Rainoil Group, one of Nigeria’s largest indigenous oil and gas company.

He hails from Idumuje Ugboko in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta state and was born into an average home on the 28th of May, 1966.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering from the University of Benin and an Honorary Doctorate (D.Sc.) in Technology Management from Novena University, Ogume, Delta State

2. Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD)

Renowned Nigerian actor, producer, and attorney Richard Eyimofe Evans Mofe-Damijo is also known by his stage name, RMD.

He hails from Aladja community of Udu Kingdom, Delta State. He was Delta State’s former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism.

In 2016, he was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 12th Africa Movie Academy Awards, in addition to winning the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role.

He graduated with a degree in theater arts from the University of Benin and was born on July 6, 1961.

3. Fred Amata

Fred Amata hails from Delta State and is also an actor in Nollywood.

Following his appearance in the movie Legacy in 1986, he gained notoriety.

He graduated from the University of Jos’ Theatre Arts program on May 18, 1963.

4. Omawunmi

Born into the Itsekiri tribe in Delta State, Omawumi Megbele is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress.

She represents Malta Guinness, Konga.com, and Globacom as a brand ambassador.

She is also part of the campaign called “Rise with the Energy of Africa”.

She became well-known after placing second in the 2007 West African Idols reality TV series, which is a part of the Idols franchise.

She was born on April 13, 1982, and graduated from Ambrose Ali University with a law degree.

5. Uti Nwachukwu

Uti Nwachukwu is a fashion icon, TV personality, actor, and co-host of the Nigerian talk show Jara.

He hails from Ndokwa, Aboh Kingdom, Ndokwa East Local Government Area, Delta State, Nigeria.

He was born on August 3, 1982, and received his degree from Benson Idahosa University in Benin City.

6. Francis Odega

Comedian Francis Odega hails from Delta State in Nigeria.

He graduated from Ambrose Ali University with a degree in Economics.

He is one of the original comedians from the well-known comedy show Night of a Thousand Laughs.

He has received numerous honors for his exceptional work.

7. Bovi

Nigerian stand-up comedian, actor, and writer Bovi Ugboma hails from Delta State.

8. Ufuoma Mc-Dermott

Ufuoma Stacey McDermott is a Nigerian film director, actress, and former model who is descended from the Urhobo tribe in Delta State.

She was born on April 23, 1981, and graduated from the University of Lagos with a master’s degree in public and international affairs.

She has kids with Steven McDermott, whom she is married to.

9. Beverly Naya

Born in Ibusa, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, Beverly Ifunaya Bassey, better known by her stage name Beverly Naya, is a Nigerian actress and model.

Beverly studied in the United Kingdom. She studied philosophy, sociology, and psychology at Brunel University.

She continued her education by studying filmmaking and scriptwriting at Roehampton University in London.

10. Harrysong

Born in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, Harrison Tare Okiri is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist better known by his stage name Harrysong.

His musical career started in Lagos, where he was raised.

He became well-known when his Nelson Mandela tribute song won The Headies 2013’s “Most Downloaded Callertune Award.”

Following the release of his hit song “Beta Pikin,” Harrysong has been nominated for “Best Pop/R&B Artist of the Year.”

11. Rykardo Agbor

Another actor from Delta State is Rykardo Oke Agbor, better known by his stage name Rykardo Agbor.

Agbor began his professional life as a model before entering the film business in 1992, when a friend named Leo Marenini brought him into the spotlight.

Together with Ayo Adesanya, he has starred in a number of films, including “Osuka.” He is a married man with kids.
