Ikorodu City delivered a sensational performance at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, on Monday afternoon, defeating Lobi Stars 4-2 in an NPFL six-goal spectacle.

This win marks Ikorodu City’s first four-goal home game of the season.

Salau Yusuf gave the hosts an early lead in the second minute, with Emmanuel Solomon adding a second goal 17 minutes later.

Lobi Stars fought back with two quick goals in first-half stoppage time, courtesy of Ifeanyi Assurance.

Despite Lobi’s efforts, Ikorodu City reclaimed control in the 56th minute when Alade Solomon put them back in the lead, followed by Rivio Ayemnwere’s stunning strike two minutes later, sealing the victory.

Lobi Stars, still winless under former Super Eagles forward Daniel Amokachi, remain in search of their first victory of the season.
