Osimhen parts ways with agent amid transfer saga

Striker Victor Osimhen has terminated his relationship with agent Roberto Calenda amid ongoing transfer issues, as reported by Il Mattino (via TMW).

Osimhen, reportedly frustrated with Calenda’s handling of his potential move from Serie A, was displeased with the agent’s efforts to secure a transfer. It is believed that Osimhen even negotiated his loan move to Galatasaray independently, without an agent’s involvement.

The Nigerian international was anticipated to leave Napoli on deadline day, with both Al Ahli and Chelsea making attempts to finalize deals. However, no transfers materialized, and Calenda faced significant criticism on social media for his role in the failed negotiations.

Osimhen has reportedly enlisted Turkish intermediary George Gardi to facilitate his move to Galatasaray. The deal is a straight loan until the end of the season, with a break clause in January allowing for potential moves by top European clubs.
