Osimhen visits his Lagos primary school with CAF award

Nigerian footballer, Victor Osimhen, returned to his primary school, Olusosun Primary School in Oregun, Lagos State, to present his CAF award to the community that helped shape his early career.

Osimhen made history in December 2023 by winning the prestigious CAF 2023 Men’s Player of the Year title, breaking Nigeria’s 24-year wait since Nwankwo Kanu had won the accolade in 1999.

Sulaiman Adebayo, a photojournalist known as Pooja, shared exclusive coverage of Victor Osimhen’s return to his primary school on X.com, giving fans a glimpse into the football star’s nostalgic visit.

In a heartwarming repeat of his previous visit, Victor Osimhen returned to his alma mater in June 2023, revisiting the familiar grounds of his primary school.

During his trip, he made a poignant stop at his former classroom, reunited with his old teacher, and took memorable photos with the current students.
