Osun Amotekun arrests man for alleged defilement of 10-year-old girl

Operatives of the Osun Amotekun Corps have apprehended a 35-year-old man, Muritala Ibrahim, for allegedly defiling a 10-year-old girl in Agba, Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State.

The arrest followed a complaint lodged by the girl’s mother at the Amotekun Boripe Command.

According to CSP Isaac Omoyele (rtd), the Corps Commander, Ibrahim allegedly lured the young girl to his residence, where he forcibly violated her.

Omoyele also revealed that Ibrahim shaved part of the girl’s hair and gave her a different dress to wear.

“Upon preliminary investigation, the suspect confessed to perpetrating the act by defiling the young girl.

“He has been handed over to the police for further investigation and prosecution,” Omoyele Stated.
