Rivers LG Poll: Any idiot that tries nonsense on Saturday, will be dealt with – Gov Fubara

Ahead of the October 5 local government elections in Rivers State, Governor Siminalayi Fubara has pledged his administration’s full support for the process.

In a recent meeting, the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) expressed its readiness to conduct the polls as scheduled.

In a video released, RSIEC officials reassured the public that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure a smooth, credible, and transparent election.

Governor Fubara, emphasizing the importance of grassroots governance, urged citizens to participate actively in the electoral process, noting that free and fair elections at the local level would strengthen democracy across the state.

He also said, “Any idiot that tries any nonsense on Saturday, will be dealt with”.
