Super Falcons defender, Demehin, joins Turkish side Galatasaray

Galatasaray, one of Turkey’s top football clubs, has announced the signing of Nigerian defender, Oluwatosin Demehin.

The Super Falcons star joins on a one-year deal following her departure from French side Stade de Reims.

The signing comes on the heels of the club’s acquisition of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen on loan from Napoli.

Demehin, 22, was instrumental in Stade de Reims’ fourth-place finish in the French D1 Arkema last season.

After two successful years in France, she is set to bring her defensive skills to Turkey as she embarks on the next chapter of her career with Galatasaray.

The versatile defender will wear the No. 4 jersey for Galatasaray.

Before her stint in Europe, Demehin played for Nigerian clubs Sunshine Stars and Rivers United, showcasing her talent in the domestic league.
