Super Falcons star Nnadozie crowned 2024 CAF goalkeeper of the year
Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been honored as the 2024 Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year, claiming the prestigious award for the second consecutive time.
The announcement was made during a ceremony held on Monday at the Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, Morocco.
Nnadozie, 24, emerged victorious over strong contenders, including Andile Dlamini, Khadija Er-rmichi, Habiba Sabry, and Fideline Ngoy.
Her impressive performances for both club and country throughout the season cemented her position as the standout choice.
Playing for Paris FC in France’s Division 1 Féminine, Nnadozie was also recognized as the Goalkeeper of the Season for the 2023/24 campaign, showcasing her exceptional skill and consistency.
This accolade highlights Nnadozie’s remarkable talent and her growing legacy in women’s football.
Nnadozie’s heroic efforts, including a 33% clean sheet ratio and game-saving performances, propelled Paris FC to a third-place finish in the league.
