Luton Town, a club in the Sky Bet Championship, has announced the signing of 33-year-old former Nigerian international, Victor Moses.

The winger joins the Hatters on a permanent transfer, pending international clearance.

Moses recently parted ways with Russian club Spartak Moscow after his contract expired earlier this summer. His illustrious career includes stints at top clubs such as Wigan Athletic, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Inter Milan.

Moses was notably part of Chelsea’s squad that won the UEFA Europa League during the 2012/13 season under manager Rafa Benitez. The veteran winger expressed his excitement following his move to Luton Town and looks forward to the new challenge.

I’m looking forward to it,” Moses told the club’s official website.

“I had a few offers from Europe, but I said to my agent that I set my mind on staying over here, and here we are. I’m very pleased and honoured to be at this club and I just can’t wait to get going.

“I spoke to Rob before I came, I spoke to the directors and they told me the plan and the history of the club, and I just want to be part of the success.

“I want to come here and enjoy my football, work hard for the club and for the team, and get back to where we belong in the Premier League.”
