BREAKING: Many feared killed as bomb blast rocks wedding in Borno

In a catastrophic event, a female suicide bomber detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) at a wedding in Gwoza town, Borno State.

The tragic events resulted in a significant number of injuries and deaths.

According to eyewitnesses, the assailant, who was carrying an infant on her back, successfully infiltrated the wedding venue and activated the explosive device. At Tashan Mararaba, which is situated in close proximity to the Fire Service in Gwoza town, the tragic incident occurred on Saturday.

While the exact number of fatalities remains unconfirmed, several wounded individuals are currently receiving medical care at the General Hospital in Gwoza, including the source of this report.

As of now, security officials have not released any statements regarding the attack.
