Ex Konga executive Nick Imudia kills self, jumps off balcony in Lekki apartment

Nick Imudia, a former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Konga, a popular e-commerce company in Nigeria has committed suicide at his residence.

On Tuesday, June 25, Nick, who was serving as the CEO of D.light, a pioneering company in the distribution and financing of residential solar energy solutions and transformational household products, committed suicide by leaping from the balcony of his flat in Lekki, Lagos, News360 Nigeria gathered.

So far, his reasons for committing suicide has not be disclosed by his closest allies.

Our correspondent gathered that Nick had contacted his sibling, who is based in the United States, before his demise to seek guidance on how to distribute his wealth in the event of his death.

Our reporters also gathered that he also contacted his young daughter from a former relationship to assure her that he would always be there for her.

He told her that she only needed to glance up at the sky and he would see her.

The sad event of his passing as put his colleagues, family, and associates in a state of shock as to why he would commit suicide.

News360 Nigeria reports that Nick was formerly married to the mother of his young daughter, who was also from the same local government area as him, from the Ika South local government area of Delta State.

According to several reports, the marriage was ended as a result of irreconcilable differences.

Nick gave love a second chance as he married a Caucasian woman.

Before joining Konga, Nick served as a regional director at TCL/Alcatel and as the GM/MD for West and Central Africa at Microsoft Device and Services.
