Real Madrid’s star attacking midfielder, Jude Bellingham, has reiterated his dedication to the club, emphasizing his readiness to adapt to any position to contribute to the team’s progress.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday night ahead of Real Madrid’s Champions League clash with Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday, Bellingham shared his thoughts on his versatility and the club’s dynamics since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund.

Reflecting on his role, the England international remarked, “It’s been like any other adaptation. It changes the dynamic a bit, the style of play and the approach, but I’ve shown that I can play in different positions. I prefer a bit more up-front, but it’s not important for me.”

He further stated his willingness to prioritize the team’s success over personal preferences, saying, “I’m willing to play wherever they put me, and I’m not affected by the position. We always set the team up to win.”

Bellingham also acknowledged the challenges Real Madrid faced after losing their iconic striker, Karim Benzema, last summer but expressed confidence in the team’s ability to adapt and succeed.

With a stellar debut season in the Spanish capital and a mindset focused on collective progress, Bellingham continues to shine as a key player for Real Madrid.

“There was a gap and it was a way to compensate for this lack of goals. This year we have signed one of the best players of this generation, who has scored an unbelievable amount of goals. My role is going to change and I’m totally willing to do that.”

The 21-year-old has seen his attacking role decline at the club since the big-money arrival of France World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe.

Before Mbappe’s arrival, Bellingham played upfront with Brazilian attackers Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Silva de Goes; amassing 23 goals across all competitions last season.

However, this season, the Englishman has only managed two goals, with back-to-back strikes in their last two games in the domestic league.
