The Nigerian Correctional Service, which is also referred to as the Nigerian Prison Service, is the only government agency in charge of managing the nation’s prison system and its inmates.

In addition, it bears the duty of rehabilitating inmates and getting them ready for a better life in society after they are released.

By Decree No. 45 of 1992, it was founded, and in 1993 it started to operate.

Nigerian Correctional Service Salary

The Nigerian Correctional Service pays its employees according to their rank, experience, and qualifications.
