Ogun Landlord slumps, dies during argument with Tenant

Tragic events occurred at Aribabu village, Sotubo, Ogun State, as a landlord, Apeh Benjamin, wa confirmed dead following a violent argument with his tenant.

According to the report, the tenant’s unpaid rent was the reason for the the argument.

The tenant, identified ad Emmanuel, had previously threatened to hurt the landlord during an heated confrontation.

The Ogun State Police Command revealed on Monday that the landlord succumbed to his injuries and slumped to his death at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Sunday.

The command’s spokesman, Omolola Odutola, assured that investigations were ongoing to ascertain the actual cause of the death.

“One Apeh Benjamin of Aribabu village, Sotubo Ogun State a landlord slumped, and died at about 0630hrs on 2nd of June, over a heated argument with one Emmanuel his tenant who threatened to kill his landlord, over indebted rent.

“Investigation is on,” she said.
