Sports Ministry schedules post-games review for Paris 2024 Olympics, Paralympics

The Federal Ministry of Sports Development has announced a Post-Games Audit and Review meeting for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, set to take place on Tuesday in Abuja.

The announcement, made by Mrs. Kehinde Ajayi, Director of Information and Press Relations at the Ministry, outlined that key stakeholders and participants have been invited to attend the meeting.

The review aims to assess the nation’s performance at the global sporting events.

“These include the Presidents and Secretaries-General of the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) and Paralympic Committee of Nigeria (PCN).

“Others are the Presidents, Secretaries-General, Technical Directors and Head Coaches of all National Sports Federations of the 12 sports Nigeria took part in at the 2024 Paris Olympics and the four sports the country participated in at the Paris Paralympics.

“Also invited are members of the Ministerial Podium Performance Committee, and Heads of Technical Departments of the Ministry,” she said.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the meeting is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m at the Media Centre of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
