Super Falcons maintains top spot in Africa, 36th in world in latest FIFA ranking

In the most recent FIFA women’s ranking, Super Falcons of Nigeria have maintained their 36th position on a global scale.

The team maintains its position as the top team in Africa, under the mentorship of coach Randy Waldrum.

South Africa’s Banyana Banyana remain the second-highest ranked team on the continent, sitting at 51st in the world rankings.

Following closely, the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco are positioned third in Africa and 56th globally.

On the global stage, Spain’s La Roja solidified their standing as the number one team in the world.

France’s Les Bleues moved up to second place, causing England to drop to third.

Germany also made significant progress, overtaking the United States to claim the fourth spot.

The next FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking is scheduled for release on August 16, 2024.
