Tinubu appoints new governing councils for maritime academy, aviation college

President Bola Tinubu has appointed 10 individuals to the governing councils of two federal tertiary institutions: the Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron, Akwa Ibom State, and the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria, Kaduna State.

The appointments were announced in a statement by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.

Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron, Akwa Ibom State
– Chairman: Kehinde Akinola
– Members: Shehu Maigari Doguwa, Samuel Isichei, Faisal Lawal Halidu

Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria, Kaduna State
– Chairman: Anthony Manzo
– Members: Ngozi Okuoma, Durungunwa Abdulmalik, Biodun Taiwo, Florence Toyin Olorunfemi

President Tinubu emphasized the importance of integrity and dedication in these roles, expecting the appointees to contribute significantly to the structural, academic, and overall standards of these institutions.
