Transfer: Osimhen’s agent refutes swap deal with Chelsea

Victor Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, has categorically denied rumors of a loan move to Chelsea. 

Calenda has come out strongly to refute claims that Osimhen is set to join Chelsea on loan. The agent’s statement puts to rest speculation that had been gaining traction in recent days.

The Athletic reported earlier on Tuesday that the Blues are working on a loan deal for Osimhen with a buy option.

Belgium international, Romelu Lukaku was also expected to join Napoli on a permanent transfer as part of the deal.

Calenda has now moved to deny the report.

“I read about ‘fantasy exchanges’ with Victor… as if he was a package to be delivered quickly,” Calenda wrote on X

“This package is the top scorer of the third Scudetto in the history of Napoli”.
