Tyson Fury, Usyk set for heavyweight rematch, to share $190 million
Tyson Fury will face Oleksandr Usyk today in a much-anticipated heavyweight rematch at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Today.
Usyk, who secured the title in a surprising upset in May, will now give Fury a chance to reclaim his championship belt.
Despite the excitement surrounding the event, the fight is no longer for the undisputed title, as Usyk was recently stripped of his IBF championship.
The total purse for the bout is $190 million, with Usyk receiving 55% and Fury 45%.
In their first fight, Fury walked away with $100 million, while Usyk earned $45 million. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Usyk’s net worth is estimated at $80 million, while Fury’s fortune is valued at approximately $140 million.
Fans are eager to see if Fury can regain his crown or if Usyk will solidify his dominance in the heavyweight division.
